Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

As a bird lover this was a truly amazing experience - to see them up close and in their element was incredible. Roger was a world of great information and made the experience even that much richer. Highly recommend it to anyone - bird lover or just outdoor enthusiast!

My 10 year old daughter loves birds. Loves birds of prey. She had a marvelous time. She cannot wait to return to complete the next level. She learned a ton and was so thrilled to see the birds fly up close and to get to hold a hawk. Highly recommend.

The highlight of our stay at the Broadmoor was the falconry lesson. My son chose falconry lessons for his high school graduation present, and he was absolutely thrilled with the experience. We didn't just learn about owls, falcons, and hawks, we also got to interact with them. The falconers, Deanna and Katie, were professional, friendly, and clearly love their birds and their sport. They took care to make it the best experience possible for us.
