Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

Katy is amazing. She does an exceptional job sharing her expertise and keeping everyone (all ages) engaged. The birds are gorgeous, regal, and so interesting. Definitely going back to do the intermediate lesson with my daughters in the Fall.

Learned so much about raptors and falconry from the raptor expert. We hope to do the two additional courses. And it was great to get so close to the owls and hawks, support them on our hands and have them fly between us.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. We had four children in our group and the each enjoyed the opportunity to participate. We would highly recommend for families and groups.
