Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

What a unique and fantastic experience. My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and could have not asked for a better experience to mark the day. The staff was so attentive and friendly. The Falconer was so knowledgeable and attentive to the whole group. I recommend this experience for all ages. You wont regret it. A beautiful memory for sure!

If you have any interest in birds of prey or raptors in any kind, this is the event for you. The falconers knowledge of the sport and their personal love for these amazing birds comes through clearly in this lesson. The birds are amazing and the stars of the lesson. They are just amazing in how they intelligent the are and how agile they are in flight. You get a full understanding of the timeline of the sport as well as all of the details on the different kinds of birds of prey there are and what makes them different or more specialized in what they do. Then you head to the mountain and see them in their element. You fly the birds and learn even more about just how they live and survive in the wild. It is one of the most incredible thing I've ever done with wildlife in my life.
