We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our tour guide, Travis, was very knowledgeable and shared great insights of Austin and the history of bats. We recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Austin area. The views are gorgeous at night. Great summer activity for families.

Connor was a very nice and well educated tour guide! He kept us safe and having a fun time! He was easy to chat with as we waited for the bats! The bat experience was interesting and cool to watch hundreds fly out at a time!

I was super excited about this tour. But in the end it was disappointing. Elle and Reves were good, but it was more of a float town the river and not any real kayaking was done. The views of the city from the water were wonderful!!! We basically floated down the river to the Congress street bridge then battled the current for 2 hours trying to stay in a spot were you could see the bats. The bats never came out- which was really disappointing. I realize that they are wild animals and can’t be controlled, but it still was disappointing.

Sorry we can't control the bats and the current to the lake. It's roughly a mile and a half journey to the bridge. We typically try to time it so you don't have to wait longer then 20 minutes for the bats, but we can't control nature.
