We had a fantastic day out touring Oahu with Eddie! Eddie’s personal anecdotes, surfing knowledge and well rounded knowledge made the tour very enjoyable. We were able to take the tour in our own time and had plenty of opportunities to experience what the North Shore has to offer! We would definitely recommend a tour with Eddie!

We did the custom island tour with the four of us. We started out on the east coast and saw some breathtaking sites, including the beach from the movie “From Here to Eternity.” We then came back through the hills on the H3 and H2 to the Dole Plantation. We got there early enough to avoid the big crowds and took the train ride. It was very informative. We then went up to the North Shore where the surfers were out catching the huge waves. We also saw a couple of sea turtles (~ 50 feet away). We ended the day catching some downtown sites including the King Kamehameha Statue. After that, we were tired, so we called it a day after 6 hours. Eddie was very nice and gave us a lot of good local info. We tipped him generously. The van was very uncomfortable and loud. If we had a more comfortable ride, we may have done another hour or two (up to 8 hours). Also, the value for the tour ($700) was not good. I would have given this review 5 stars if the cost was about $500 or less and if we had a better ride.

Aloha, Depending on where you booked your tour, they may have added extra fees. If you book the tour directly through us, the prices are right on the front page at CustomIslandTours.net or .com, for 4 to 5 people, it’s $600 not $700, which is a pretty good price considering you get the tour van and tour guide all to yourself for 8 hours. I’ve never had anyone say that our vans were uncomfortable. For 4 people, you were most likely in one of our 2017 Ford Transit vans which seat up to 11 customers, so you would have had plenty of room. Eddie is an excellent tour guide and has great reviews here. I’m sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t good enough for a 5 star review. I’m sure that if there was anything else that Ed could have done for you, he would have done it. I reward the drivers for 5 star reviews.
