This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

What To Expect

Coit Tower

See the murals and views the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. How much time you spend is up to you.

Painted Ladies

Call it Postcard Row, the Painted Ladies, or the Full House houses, everyone loves seeing this site in person. And if you want to get out and take a picture, you can. As with all locations, if you want to get out is up to you.

Presidio of San Francisco

Drive through this former Army base turned national park. Stop and see the Yoda statue if you want.

North Beach

Learn the history and culture of this neighborhood that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Lombard Street

If the time is right and there isn't too much traffic (usually weekend and holiday afternoons) we drive down the famous crooked st. If we can't drive down, we can at least drive by, and get out for photos if you want to.

Chinatown

Drive through this neighborhood, and learn about its history and culture. As I talk about the architecture, you can look up an see it as we drive through in the convertible MINI Cooper.

Haight-Ashbury

Drive down the street made famous in the 1960's, and learn why the music and culture made resonated around the world.

Golden Gate Park

Drive through the park, see the museums and the Japanese Tea garden. Guests enjoy driving through and learning the history of this urban garden created on top of 1,017 acres of sand. If open, there is an opportunity to go into the observation tower of the DeYoung museum.

Twin Peaks

Experience a spectacular view of the entire city, the Bay, and if the weather is clear, bridges as far south as Silicon Valley and up near the wine country.

16 Avenue Tiled Steps

The 16th Ave Tiled steps are only part of what you can see. I can show you a lesser known but equally as impressive tiled staircase, and what these staircases looked like before they were transformed into this urban art piece.

Mission District

See Mission Dolores, the Mission Murals, and location of what may be the best burritos in city.

Reed (# 4155295404 ) is an encyclopedia of the City of San Francisco! He is gracious, accommodating, prompt and witty. On booking he asked for specifics about the neighborhoods we'd like to visit and was prepared for our journey on pickup. Riding in the top down Mini Cooper was FUN, FUN, Fun! We crisscrossed the city seamlessly while Reed narrated without missing a beat! Stopping briefly here and there to catch a special view or hear the bells of a cathedral. I doubt if Webster’s Dictionary has enough adjectives to describe our time with Reed for our San Francisco tour. Reed makes you feel like a friend is picking you up for a ride around the city. His knowledge of San Francisco is that of a history major and you hear it all as you talk about the city during your drive. You keep wanting to hear more. Reed knows the city like the back of his hand & we allowed him to show it all to us & see it we did. There is no way I could of planned it better. After our time together the only regret was saying goodbye & thinking we definitely should of taken a longer tour. Thank you Reed for making our day with you so memorable.
