Custom Private Tour in Convertible MINI Cooper

Overview
You're in a special city. Why take an ordinary tour? This is the ONLY convertible MINI Cooper tour in the country!

This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

I love showing guests San Francisco, and talking about the history and culture of this unique and special city.

I recently returned from my first trip to San Francisco. I had one full day available to get to know the city, so I booked with Reed after reading all of the glowing reviews. And once again, TripAdvisor did not steer me wrong, as I'm now writing my own glowing review. I booked for four hours, but Reed didn't have another commitment, so we actually went for about five and a half hours. I thought it was completely worth every penny. You really feel like you are a part of the action, being in the convertible, but part of the action with your own private, knowledgeable commentary! He's willing to go not just in the city limits, but also to the Marin Headlands and to Muir Woods. He asks you beforehand if there is anything special you want to see, and is willing to spend as much or as little time at each location, depending on what you're in the mood for. I would heartily recommend Small Car Big Time Tours to anybody, whether it's your first or twentieth trip to San Francisco. I guarantee you'll come away with a new appreciation for and knowledge of the city.

I spent 4 glorious hours with Reed in his Mini Cooper convertible scooting all over San Francisco. Reed is a gracious tour guide who loves his city and loves to share it with his passengers. He has fantastic historical knowledge that he shares with aplomb and humor! I had only one day in the city as I was passing through for work and found that this trip was a perfect way to see San Francisco in all of its glory - the highlights like Lombard Street, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, the Presido and Twin Peaks and the hidden gems that only a resident of the city can show you. I would highly recommend Small Car Big Time to anyone travelling to San Francisco!! Thanks Reed for giving me a memorable day!!

“Small Car, Big Time Tour of San Francisco” 5 of 5 Stars Reviewed August 31, 2014 My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary in San Francisco, staying at the Ritz Carlton. Although we had been to San Francisco in the past, we felt that we had never really experienced it in a relaxed and proper manner. We dislike typical tours and avoid them at all costs, but managed to find the perfect solution for those who want a private tour in a fun and relaxing manner. Reed Rahlmann, a third generation San Franciscan and his Small Car, Big Time Tours will take you on an adventure through San Francisco you will never forget - and all in the back seat of a top down Mini Cooper Convertible! What a joy to have unobstructed views, be able to customize your day, stop for pictures whenever you like, and go where most vehicles can't even imagine. The best part is Reed, who shared his knowledge and historical understanding of the city and its environs as we toured. What an experience! All couples should do this when in San Francisco.
