There is some upriver paddling so children under the age of 10 should be paired with an adult

Kayaks have a 300 pound weight limit. Tandem Kayaks 550 pounds. Paddleboards 225 pounds

What To Expect

Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. Discover the best way to snorkel with an underwater scooter; it does all the work of swimming for you so you can take in the beauty below the surface and snorkel effortlessly. Document your experience with a GoPro, with mounts to tackle every job you won't miss a moment. Relax in luxury and let us do all the heavy lifting, packing, and setting up for you. Our guide was awesome! He and his co-guide handled everything and made the excursion a fun time for all of us. He pointed out all the wildlife along the way and gave us a good history of the place.

We had such an amazing family adventure with Coldwater Excursions! Christian was a great guide. We traveled with our kids (ages 10,8, and 4) and they all had a great time. Thank you! Highly recommend. It was great as a mom to not have to worry about packing everything. Everything was provided for us.

Very well organized, not too crowded, worth the price (as it covers lunch, sunscreen, towels, chairs, shuttles, kayaks, gas, diving gear). Staff is very friendly and upbeat! My only suggestion would be to allow more time on the long kayak paddle back to stop and swim a little -- it kind of felt like a marathon.
