As well, you'll be accompanied by a guide well-versed in the area History, Flora & Fauna and geologic formation of the Great lakes and Dune formations. Sleeping Bear is fantastic in and of itself, but having a guide to explain everything from the Native Tribes that once roamed the area, to the geologic forces that leave us with the Great Lakes we know today, greatly enhances ours guests visit to Sleeping Bear. Oh, and guests rave about our catered lunch. It's delicious!

Walking is required to access the vista at Empire Bluffs. The trail is designated as "Easy". Expect to walk 1.5 miles over a dirt and sand Trail.

A guided tour of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Tour includes round trip transportation from Traverse City with snacks and drinks provided. Stops include an easy walk out to Empire Bluffs, Scenic Pierce Stocking Drive, Lake Michigan overlook, Glen Lke overlook, Sleeping Bear Dune overlook, Lunch on the beach in the village of Empire, Dune Climb, Historic Village of Glen Haven and Glen Arbor.

Seeing the sights and hearing the story behind them was excellent. Lunch was great as well. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable.

Matt was a great tour guide. He was very informative and very open to questions from our group. The lunch provided was very tasty. He took cues from the group and adjusted the day based on our interests. It was great to have someone else do the driving and give my husband and I a chance to enjoy the scenery.

This tour was wonderful! Our guide Matt was amazing! He was very knowledgeable of the area and extremely patient and kind. He made sure everyone on the bus was comfortable. Got to see way more than we expected and the views were breathtaking. Lunch on the beach was a nice touch and the ice cream at the closing of the trip was the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this tour!
