After your guide gives you a brief overview on how to safely enjoy your sea kayaking adventure, you'll cruise around the harbor and learn about the interesting history and folklore of Dana Point.

Upon returning our kayaks, we'll embark on a scenic walk over the Dana Point Headlands. Along the way, you'll hear all about the Lantern District, Richard Henry Dana, and the area's Hollywood connections. The stunning beaches, laid-back local vibe, and the beautiful mountain backdrop make it easy to see why so many people enjoy Dana Point's endless summer vibes year-round!

What a great time! I've lived in Dana Point for 10 years. I've been to the harbor hundreds of times. That said, this tour showed me so many things I'd missed. The harbor is small enough to make it easy to navigate, but large enough to provide lots to see; from the yachts to the sea lions, and there are white squirrels too. This is just a fun, relaxing and enjoyable way to experience the harbor from both land and sea (Well, the water anyway.) This Kayak and walking tour of Dana Point Harbor is a "must do" for vacationers and locals alike.

Gene was a fun & knowledgeable tour guide. I have difficulties getting up & down from the ground (or dock) and he showed me the easiest way to get in & out of the kayak. He made me feel important & that I got the most out of the tour even though there was only me. I was leery of kayaking in the ocean so the harbor tour was perfect - with smooth water. It was very interesting to see the boats in the harbor while he explained about the history of the area and how / why / when the harbor was built. I also got to see Sea Lions and multiple types of birds. Because there was only us, he also gave me a driving tour, allowing me to see the views from different bluffs and some of the historic homes in the area.
