For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. Even though we didn't see whales this trip was well worth it! A stampede of dolphins was waiting for us as we embarked on our journey and we couldn't have asked for anything better! The crew on our boat was amazing, very informative, and interacted with all of us. We unfortunately had one seasick passenger and the crew was so concerned and helpful. Was on top of the situation with suggestions and they were able to improvise the journey when we had to turn back and drop our sick passenger off. Very impressed and would highly recommend Captain Dave's!

My husband and I have gone out with Captain Dave's Dolphin Safari for at least 10 years during different seasons. We have loved each and every trip. We have gone with friends and relatives and it has always been enjoyable. The crew is always excellent and well-informed. Can't wait to go again!
