Captain Pete was personable and knowledgeable, providing an interesting narrative about the history of the Native American and Gullah people and their lives on Daufuskie island. The boat ride along the waterways to the island was pleasant and smooth with beautiful scenery along the way. The golf cart tour on the island was a convenient way to visit the historically interesting locations. We especially enjoyed visiting the Indigo and Natural Dye Studio and talking with the textile artist. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience!

Capt. Doreen was excellent, entertaining and very knowledgeable. Her historical knowledge of the Gullah culture was appreciated. I only wish the tour was longer to visit some of the other places on this beautiful rustic peaceful island. Boat ride was great and we saw a pod of dolphins and some beautiful birds. We will be back! Giddy up! šŸ˜€ Ps the dirt roads are full of bumps so be prepared if you have a bad back or hip on the golf cart ride. I survived!
