Grand Traverse Bay

Enjoy a beautiful sail on a 63-ft schooner around the Grand Traverse Bay. This family-friendly sail includes locally-sourced food and drinks. Help raise the sails and sit at the helm while you learn about the natural and cultural history of the region. You are pampered by the captain and crew while you relax and take in the amazing colors of the water, feel the wind on your skin and taste the food and drink fresh from the farms and shops of the area.

Such a great day for a sail! The staff were fabulous, fun and enjoyed getting to know the customers. The food and beverage selection was also very on point. It was a great afternoon out on the bay!

I went on both the Wind Dancer sailboat. It was an awesome experience. The staff was incredible; knowledgable, friendly, caring, welcoming and attentive. It was so relaxing to be out on the water with a glass of wine, wind blowing and soft music playing. A storm was on the horizon toward the end of our trip and the team was professional and took our safety seriously, getting us back to shore before the storm hit. I highly recommend Wind Dancer when you visit the Traverse City area!

Great, relaxing sail around the bay. Great team keeping everyone safe and making sure we were enjoying the trip. The lunch they provided was amazing! All locally sourced food that made everything even better.
