Grand Traverse Bay

Enjoy a beautiful sail on a 63-ft schooner around the Grand Traverse Bay. This family-friendly sail includes locally-sourced food and drinks. Help raise the sails and sit at the helm while you learn about the natural and cultural history of the region. You are pampered by the captain and crew while you relax and take in the amazing colors of the water, feel the wind on your skin and taste the food and drink fresh from the farms and shops of the area.

The weather had begun to turn and we were not sure what to expect in terms of temperature or rain, fortunately, the day turned out to be warm and for sailing, a brisk south westerly breeze. Our crew of headed by Capt Dan, were knowledgeable about the boat and their environs. Lunch was a sandwich and Salad which was pleasant as was the Whilte wine that my wife and I enjoyed. Having owned several Keel boats in my younger days, I really enjoyed the feel and performance of the larger vessel and thououghly enjoyed the trip. I would do it again if I found myself in T.C again.

Absolutely wonderful!! I went solo and never felt like a loner. Trevor and John were awesome and Jason is the best captain. I always felt safe and it was very obvious right from the get go that he was an expert. Such a great experience, I will definitely go again. Might even bring someone next time.
