Very well organized and informative tour. Bus was clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and accommodating. Contacted them in advance about a dietary restriction (since lunch was included) and they were able to meet my needs. My group of 6 enjoyed our day thoroughly!

It was very nice that the bus was able to pick me up at my hotel. They have different tour packages on one bus so not everyone is doing everything. It can be a bit confusing but our driver Wendy made sure we made it to each event and back on the bus when we were done. The lunch was kind of basic and late in the day, but there were plenty of opportunities to get some thing else in town. There was just enough time with each event to enjoy it, though not enough to do everything. all in all, this was a very nice way to spend the day, very easy, frictionless way to see Charleston from Myrtle Beach

There were 6 adults in our group. Our driver, Wendy, was excellent, as were the people I spoke with on the phone to make our reservation. All in all, it was a pretty good day for a tour weather-wise, but there were bumps in the trip that made me wish we had done the drive on our own. We were picked up at approximately 7:30 am in Surfside Beach and headed out to our first stop - Patriot's Point. Those visiting the Boon Farm Plantation were let off the bus and then we proceeded to our stop. Very interesting, but not enough time to see everything at the site because of its size. The Viet Nam exhibit was exceptional and we really enjoyed our guide, Stoney. Next stop was the buggy ride in Charleston, followed by shopping in the Old City Market - listed as "approximately one hour to shop." Well, the buggy ride was less than spectacular - we had a horse that didn't want to move! Shopping? We had less than 10 minutes to walk (run) through the market to get the bus. Since we all looked forward to shopping in the market, this was a MAJOR let-down. We then received our box lunch - a sandwich, some chips and cookies, and a soda/water. The ferry over was an average ride, too. Once we got to the fort we were given a 10 minute talk by the ranger on duty. The fort is basically cannon and bricks. They had a little gift shop that was open, but the museum was CLOSED because of Covid. Everyone was walking around without masks, next to each other, and crowded in the store but the museum, which was probably the most interesting part of being in Sumpter was CLOSED!! This tour may be what you would like to do because they have other options. If we could do it over again we would probably choose to visit the plantation, but I don't think we wouldn't take this tour again, we would probably arrange our own visit. Again - this is no reflection on our bus driver, Wendy, and on the people we booked the tour with, but people booking the tour should make sure that the museum on Sumpter is open and that there will be ample time to shop if that's something you want to do.
