First of all have to give a shout out to Wendy our driver. She was great! We booked this trip to relax and see as much of Charleston as we could. Mission accomplished! Although there is much more to be seen. Who knew Charleston had such a rich history. Boone Hall Plantation was amazing. Centuries old live oaks all along the main entrance were stunning. The tour of the farm and the gardens also very cool. Maybe our favorite part of the tour was the carriage ride thorough downtown. The guide was awesome and really knew the history. The visit to Fort Sumter was also fun. Lunch was a box turkey sandwich with chips and an orange. Perfect for eating on the ferry ride to the fort. Overall we definitely recommend the tour as a great way to see a lot while not having to worry about driving and knowing where to go.

My husband and I took tour #2 which consisted of the ride to and from Charleston with six hours on our own to roam the city. Wendy, the coach driver picked us up at Ripleyā€™s Aquarium at 645am. Wendy was lovely and professional. We arrived in downtown Charleston (after dropping off some tourist at the Boone Plantation) a little before 10. Wendy informed us she would pick us up at the same location at 340 for our return trip home. We were dropped off at the City Market. I cannot stress this enough, Charleston is a VERY WALKABLE city with three free hop on and off bus routes that drive you past major tourist points. We walked to a beautiful Visitors Center on John Street where we picked up free maps outlining the bus routes. The buses came like clockwork every 15 minutes. We enjoyed a wonderful day without worrying about parking and driving home. Wendy picked us up exactly at 340 and dropped us off at Ripleyā€™s Aquarium at 645. The tour ran exactly as promised.
