Palmetto Carriage Works, BIG RED BARN on Guignard Street in downtown Charleston is definitely where you want to go if you do a carriage tour in Charleston. The tour guide was amazing. His knowledge of the history of Charleston is stellar. He was very engaging and certainly kept your attention with his wit and wisdom. I highly recommend and will use this company again the next time I go sight seeing in Charleston.

Palmetto Carriage Works is the best! Engaging and funny guides, interesting stories and facts, beautiful horses, and high quality operation. They remember their customers, and treated us so graciously each of the four times we toured with them this week. Special shout out to Jason and Goober, Dick and Howard, and Kevin and Miss O’Malley (please note that the second name in each pair is a horse). The manager of the operation is top notch h as well. So much fun - and so relaxing!
