We had a wonderful morning carriage tour with Justin. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely ride and all the detailed information about the many sites we visited. This tour company was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. The Palmetto crew was prompt, efficient, and well-organized. We cannot say enough positive things about this experience!

We booked a ride with Palmetto Carriage Works our first morning in town and were so glad we did! It was a great introduction to the history, architecture and culture of Charleston. We used what we learned on our carriage ride for the rest of the trip. We really appreciated the care this company takes with their horses and the insight we got into the carriage industry generally. And I'm sure all the guides are great, but we loved getting to ride with David and Toogoodoo! David is a native Charlestonian and the affection he has for his city is apparent in the way he shows it to visitors. He was full of stories and information as well as great tips for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Absolutely book a ride with Palmetto Carriage Works!
