You’ll begin the tour at the U.S. Navy Memorial then board the luxury bus to iconic attractions including the White House, the Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.

Each building and monument features a special illumination at night. Hop off the bus and explore the memorials with your guide, taking advantage of multiple photo opportunities. This was an excellent way to get a taste for many of the memorials and monuments in DC. It’s simply impossible to dive into all of them enough, but my husband and I didn’t feel the need to return because we had such great views and just enough time to get a feel for each one!

This is a great way to tick off which monuments and sites you'd like to spend more time exploring, and which are underwhelming. Great information and teamwork from our guide Alicia and driver Alex. Alicia not only did a great job relaying the history of the monuments, but also had helpful tips for navigating other top attractions, including some of the more popular Smithsonian museums. There is a lot of walking involved, including up and down steps at some of the monuments. Your favorite insect repellant (if you're there in the summer) would be a good idea, since part of the tour involves traipsing across the grassy South Lawn of the White House.

Just got back from traveling and Nick McCall's nighttime monument tour in DC was the best. He suggested the convertible that was perfect for our group of 5 and with the amazingly mild weather it was a unique, thoroughly enjoyable experience. He was so understanding of our desires on what to see and re-routed accordingly, navigated the “district of construction” with ease, made the most of every turn/moment – AND, entertained us the whole time. Three hours of the best tour and guide ever! He shared stories of history and much with comedy. He was ever patient with the pictures and his photography suggestion at the Lincoln Memorial of the Washington monument was sooo creative. He knew where someone with limited mobility could save steps. Young (from age 11) and (nana) alike were engrossed in the sites we were seeing because he made them more than interesting. We had seen several during the day but this experience made it truly special. Kuddos for the exceptional job – he made our trip one we won’t ever forget, and for all the best reasons.
