Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We went on the Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour. We went mid week and had a fabulous time. Our guide in the water was Christy. She was very kind to us and extremely knowledgeable as was our captain, Jim. We had the opportunity to ask many questions. Tons of time in the water with lots of time to observe,,,, sometimes extremely close up which was a blast several Manatees including a mom and baby. This company is extremely eco friendly and compliant with all of the laws protecting these gentle giants. We will be back to take another of the many different experiences that they offer. Don't miss this is something the whole family can enjoy. Have tried other companies in the area and these guys beat them hands down. Just sorry I hadn't found them sooner.

All the staff here immediately make you feel at home and are as excited as you are to be going to swim with the Manatee. We were immediately captured by the enthusiasm of our Captain Kirstie and guide Adrienne as we travelled along the river we learnt about the history and the wildlife of the area. Then we arrived masks and snorkels went on and my three children (aged 25, 24 and 8) swam with Adrienne towards the manatee as I watched from boat I was struck by the shear size and grace of these creatures it was one of those breath taking moments. Every now and then one of my children’s head would pop up eyes as big as saucers and enormous snorkel smiles. When they eventually came back on board I asked my 8 year old son what he thought, he replied by saying this was the best part of our holiday and could we do it again! For all of us it was a life experience that we would definitely repeat.

I think the comment I hear most often when people talk about their experience with the manatee is: "Magical", and so many people decide that it is the best part of their trip. While we work hard to make sure that our staff does everything we can to make your trip enjoyable and educational, there is no doubt that the true stars are the manatees. They are so gentle, intelligent and amazing, that people fall in love with these beautiful and peaceful giants. (Plus the babies are so adorable, with their scrunched up little faces.) Jacques Cousteau once said: “People protect what they love, they love what they understand and they understand what they are taught.” That is one of the reasons that we try to make our tours educational as well as fun. The more people understand manatees, and the threats they face to survive, the more likely they are to help us keep them and their habitat save. One of the favorite parts of my job is seeing how much our guests enjoy themselves, and also knowing that our staff love what they do. How could they not, when they get to go and see our gentle giants as a part of their job? Sharing their love and knowledge is a gift, and we are so happy that we were able to share the experience with you and your family. Ok this was our first time visiting FL and we decided to do a 2 week tour around all of FL. Me, my wife and our 2 children. The day of our tour it was supposed to rain so we were sort of disappointed cause we thought the rain would ruin our tour. We arrived at the location and it was sprinkling on and off. We met our Captain, Vince and Tour Guide, Dakota. They assured us the rain would not affect our tour at all. They were excellent!! We were fortunate to have a small crew (our four and another three). We set off and were entertained by Dakota's humor. We were fortunate to find a manatee very quickly and got some great photos and video. We then took off and spotted another two and got to swim with them by ourselves. There were other companies touring the same waters so be prepared to see a lot of people. Vince and Dekota did their best to get us some privacy with the manatees. It was an experience we will not soon forget. Thank you so much!! Highly Recommend!!

They were really amazing in the water, and that makes all the difference in having a great experience. Although it involves just floating quietly, sometimes that can be a challenge when a huge marine mammal is swimming just a few feet away.
