Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour

Overview
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

My wife and I are both off-road enthusiasts and like to tinker with our Jeep and ride it on trails. So when we were planning our honeymoon some off-roading had to be there, and I'm so glad I booked with them. Tucker and Cooper were fun to ride with, and our group was luckily fairly good at riding ATVs. The pick-up from our hotel was on time and when we got to the ATV place, there was no long lecture session (thank god!). Pretty soon we were ready to roll, and our guides led us through some interesting trails next to Denali National Park. There are couple things to note: 1. The trails are very-easy to still-easy. I won't even rate any of the trails as moderately difficult. This is not a tour for adrenaline junkies. If you want some fun time riding an ATV with amazing views and pretty terrains, this is a tour for you. 2. #1 will also depend on your group. If someone can't handle an ATV or rides super slow, your trip may end up only covering very easy trails and somewhat not-so-fun. This was NOT the case for me, but I'm sure it happens some time. 3. ATVs are not allowed inside the national park, your tour will be pretty close to Denali NP, but not inside the park. I didn't think it matters anyway.

I took this tour with my 18 year old son. The views were amazing. All our guides were concerned with safety first but also with giving us a trip that we would never forget.

I did the tour on the last day of the season, it was beautiful weather and a fantastic experience. The tour covers a wide range of terrain including stream beds and by archaeological sites, with lots of exciting bits. The guides pay proper attention to safety and the vehicles are in good condition. On a single rider ATV it is physically quite strenuous, takes a lot of concentration and definitely wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with back problems. If you are not experienced on single rider ATVs the 2.5 hour tour would be advisable.
