Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour

Overview
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

We had a great experience with Gail, Tucker and Sam! We rode in two 2-passenger Wolverines since we had 2 teenagers who weren't old enough to drive. We have done ATV tours in the past that were more about scenery and less about a hard-core ATV ride. This has both! At some points we were going about 30mph on a not smooth trail. We were behind Gail who was on a single ATV and at times her tires were not connected to the ground! I would not recommend this to anyone who has back issues. We went full speed through creek beds and the windshield nicely blocked a lot of the water. The single riders got pretty wet. We got a few small splashes but nothing major. My adventurous teenagers thought this was a blast and we had a great time. One of the single rider girls clearly was not going to be able to keep up as she was going excessively slow and ran off the path into the bushes twice. Gail tried to work with her but could see that it wasn't going to work so the girl moved to another vehicle with her boyfriend and it seemed to work out well. I am glad Gail took action so as not to cause the entire group to have to slow down and keep stopping.

The tour is very well run, Bob the shuttle driver promptly picked us up from the Grande Denali Lodge and did a fantastic job delving into local attractions and history on the drive over to the start point. Our two guides, Tucker and Cooper, did a great job making sure the entire ride was safe and informative as we made a number of stops along the way to talk about the area we were traveling through that was abeam the national park. Overall a great experience in Denali, would defiantly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We got to see a variety of terrain with thick forest, ribbon rivers, landmark and gorgeous views of the mountain ranges. The guides were supper chill and fun.
