Overview

Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels. Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

We reserved a private ATV 3.5 hour tour. My wife and I had a nice Yamaha Wolverine UTV. I drove most of it but, with encouragement, she also took the wheel. Mack was our tour guide leading us in his UTV. He was great. We drove through the country, plowing through rocky terrain, water, and mud, and had a blast. Helmets were provided. Mack made it as entertaining as we would allow, which was aggressive yet safe. He was professional and courteous and seemed to enjoy how much fun we were having. We were covered in mud by the end and quite pleased. Excellent equipment and staff. No regrets and we still smile about it. The group tour from there seemed more like a parade, while we just had a great time. Do the private tour and go for it.

My family and I had a blast on our ATV ride. From the convenience of picking us up at our hotel to the ensured safety, we knew this was a great company to ride with. Our amazing guides, Tucker, Cooper, and Marileigh, provided engaging and educational commentary and even tips on other things to do in the Denali area. Would definitely do an ATV ride again.

Our guides for the day were Wes, Sam and Tucker. These guys made the trip safe and fun for everyone. We rode in side by sides, which was a first for me, prior experience was on a single rider ATV. Once you arrive on site you get a safety briefing, a machine briefing, fitted for safety gear and then you have to show you can actually drive the ATV before they begin. These were just like driving a car, except a lot more fun! The ATVs were well maintained. We made 3 stops along the way to view the gorgeous scenery and hear about the area, each guide took a turn to share stories and legends and point out interesting facts about the areas where we stopped. YES we rode for at least 2.5 hours and it was great, we went further than I expected and saw the area from multiple perspectives. It was a perfect day for a ride and we had a blast!
