Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour

Overview
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

We had a blast on our tour outside of Denali park with our single-rider ATV experience. We chose the morning ride due to our schedule and it provided great views and good weather for about 90% of the ride. We did get rained on at one point so I do recommend taking a rain jacket even if the start of the ride is super sunny. If you're hiking in Denali one day then take this tour the next so you can get off your feet and enjoy some pretty views. Side note: bus driver Bob has some really interesting facts about the area

Unfortunately ... not what we expected or what we paid for! They shortened our time ...and the majority of the time was spent riding on the Dry River creek bed and then backtracking on the same trails. The "break" at the River on the return trip was in a spot where there were no bushes for a "break" ...and was way too long. I answered emails, postings, phone messages while sitting and waiting for conversations on one of the other guests teaching experience. Then the next and last break was considerably shortened because the guides had to be back for another tour. We purchased the "premium" we thought to really experience trail riding and rented a side by side ...with my husband driving who has experience in off roading and buggies. Even then, we traveled at low speeds the entire trip ...maxing at one point at 20 mph (on the roadway -- not a trail) ...averaging 9-10. We were very disappointed in this trip and unfortunately would not recommend it to anyone else.

The young woman from North Caroline friendly, caring, providing great information. The young man from Arizona he is a great guide, very friendly and the young man from California, friendly and gave great information on the ride
