Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour

Overview
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

We were concerned, when we got on the van that picked us up, that we would be put with a large group already on the van. Luckily they kept the tour group together and sent us out with a couple of other families. What a blast!!! driving thru a river-run-off bed that still had water in it and winding along a narrow path through the trees We had so much fun with photo opps at 3 different stopping points. Shout out to Becca and Cooper to keep the group entertained, informed and laughing.

Just enough puddles and bumps to make it exciting. Our ride was shortened by an hour due to runoff from rain the night before but the credit was returned to our card with no problem. This is a great activity.

This tour was a lot of fun and we learned about a variety of topics such as “The Magic Bus”, geography and animals of the area, all thanks to Chris, our tour guide. He did an awesome job and is very personable. Also big thanks to Evan, tour manager, for doing me a big favor because of a scheduling mistake of my doing. Well done. The ATV’s are in great shape and I felt comfortable within minutes after a long time not riding one. Suggest having water resistant hikers, rain gear an extra layer, and gloves for lower temperature tours. Highly recommended tour.
