While the guides were nice, friendly and somewhat informed, i did not find this trip worth the money. It was an OK trip, with not much to see. You ride in an old jeep a few miles on stampede road, turn around and drive back to their base camp where they serve you muffins and coffee by a fire pit to fill in the time. Both the bus driver and the tour driver told the same jokes and much of the presentation seemed very canned. AND you couldn't hear the driver of he jeep very well as the noise from the jeep was pretty loud itself. Because of the type of vehicle that we were in, we couldn't get out and take pics or explore the area. If what you are looking for is a ride in a 6 x 6 jeep on a very bumpy, muddy dirt road, then this trip may be for you. The BEST part of the trip was that we could see the tip of Denali peeking through at one point.

Hi Sheryl, thank you for sharing your thoughts on your experience with us. I apologize that you felt it was not worth the money. We work hard to have the most informed and friendly guides and the most unique equipment, European Military 6x6 vehicles. It is awesome to hear you were part of the National Park Service's 30% Club. The club is made up of the 30% of people who get to see the majesty of Denali, the mountain. Our team strives to provide an outstanding experience and I apologize you felt it fell short. We hope to see you again and that your next experience will be amazing.

This adventure will go into my "ok" list. Probably not something I would do again; it was not worth the price, in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and fun. My favorite part of this adventure was the campfire and refreshments at the end. We enjoyed talking with the staff and taking in the beautiful view from that area. We did not see any wildlife while on this adventure. I know that cannot be controlled, but it was a bit of a disappointment. It was kinda cool that this trip took us along the old Stampede road, the road that Chris McAndless took in 1992 ("Into The Wild"). I'm not really into going 'mudding', but if that's your thing, then this might be for you.

Greetings! We are glad you found our staff to be friendly and fun. We strive to create a unique Denali experience that provides entertainment, education, and a chance to see a part of the area that currently no other tour company will show you. It’s always a shame when people don’t see animals on our tour, but is an unfortunate part of the low population density (for both people and animals). Just yesterday I went on an 8 hour bus tour into the park and all I saw was some Caribou! Denali is a wild and beautiful place, just maybe not as wild as television makes people believe. We try hard to portray that accurately to those who book. Thank you for your review.
