We really loved our guide Paris. She tailored our trip to our wants ( maybe a couple of hers). We had a great time . Her knowledge of the river was extensive and it showed. Would definitely take another trip. The half day trip left out a lot of the fun rapids if u have time definitely do the day trip.

We just finished the all day rafting trip with our wonderful guide Cole on the Deschutes River. Our group included 4 adult women (65, 64, 41 & 38) and 4 kids (16, 11, 8 & 7). The trip was exactly what we needed for a great bonding experience. It was an excellent introduction to white water rafting for our kids. Cole was patient and kind as the kids learned the ropes and helped ease the concerns of my special needs niece. We will definitely consider more trips with River Drifters. Thank you!

Our guide Madi is a dyed in the wool local expert! Raised here in Maupin, she’s a very knowledgeable rafting leader! Our group of six was looking for a great way to stay cool on a 100+ degree full sun day and there’s no better way to beat the heat than on the river! Madi knows all the best spots to get wet and make the most of the day! The other really neat thing is they’re operating out of a completely new and larger location with plenty of restrooms and changing rooms for getting out of wet clothes at the end of your trip.
