Not clear other reservations for parking and hike needed..should be clearer in the info provided. Needed to download at the entrance gate for a reservation to hike but no place to park..fortunately we were able finally to park at the "outlook" but it added an extra 1/2 mile to the hike

I was under the impression I was making a reservation for the hike on this website but had to pay for tickets once at diamond head on top of the price paid here. Did not even use this.

We booked the audio devices for the self guided tour to ensure they didn’t run out and were available when we arrived. Unfortunately, the parking lot was full and we couldn’t even get in. We asked the parking lot attendant for an idea of where else to park and all he offered was “I don’t know, lot’s full, just turn around”. Not helpful. Never did get in and lot the $10.
