We enjoyed seeing the sites around Avalon. The views from Mount Ada were stunning. We also enjoyed seeing other homes in Avalon and Laura’s stories treated to the island.

The tour guide was great and funny. There should be a kids section and adult section though as most of what I heard was the kid behind me yelling in my ear and the parents were just as bad, even when the kid keot sticking her hand infront of my face and saying how much she hated it. The tour itself was fine if I could hear what the tour guide was saying. The route is nice and you see wonderful views. The seats in the trolley were very comfortable. We gave the tour guide a tip at the end as she was very knowledgeable and funny. I think her name was Laura, but again I missed a lot with the kids behind me. I ended up asking her a few questions at the end and she happily obliged in answering. Thanks!

The driver and tour guide, “Bear”, was great. He knew the history of Catalina and shared many stories as we passed historical landmarks. Highly recommend as an overview and seeing what you may want to do later.
