I learned so many interesting facts about Monterey history! Guide Shirley from The Original Monterey Walking Tours was very knowledgeable, and fun too. Her love of history shined through in her presentation as we visited the many historic sites. I would definitely do this tour again. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic historic walking tour of Monterey! Tom was an excellent guide—kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about local history. I learned so much about both Monterey’s history and California's past, much of which I never encountered in my history classes growing up. I highly recommend this tour as a unique experience for anyone visiting the Monterey Bay Area. I’m already looking forward to booking the Cannery Row tour next time I'm in town!

John did such a fantastic job sharing the history of Monterey with us. History that was new to us and showed Monterey in a new light, and how important this city was for California. A great way to spend 2 hours on an afternoon in Monterey! We loved it!
