Vicky was a wonderful guide. We were surprised to hear that the sled dogs were actually her dogs that she raises. Two of her lead dogs competed in the Iditerod racing competition. This is not just a 9 to 5 job for them. You can see this really their life on display. What a great experience to see such beautiful scenery and learn about dog sleding. If you like dogs and the outdoors, you will love to spend time here and play with the dogs. The people are so nice, friendly, helpful. You will feel like you made new friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Rod's.

Dinah was amazing and really helped to share her experiences with her dogs and educate us on techniques and training. She was the highlight of this experience for our family, unquestionably! One more thing, we have done two different sled dog tours here in the Fairbanks area and this one was FAR superior and more personal as opposed to the previous one. So, in short, this was wonderful and we will be back for snow machine tours for our kiddos before end of winter. Thank you, Dinah!!

First and foremost, we would like to acknowledge Emma for emparting her knowledge in mushing, introducing us to her lovable dogs and most specially made our dog sled run safe and interesting. The company has honest , straight forward and very welcoming employees. I also had the pleasure to meet personally the lovely better half of Mr Rod and made it a point that the TV ad in Alaska Channel was worth it.
