Dog sledding was a highlight of our trip and what made it so memorable were our guides: Vickie, Luther, and Riley. Since there were 5 of us we had 3 sleds. Each guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing their knowledge and love of the sport with us. We were the first 2 hour ride of the season and were so glad we had picked the linger ride. This tour had all the appropriate gear we needed to stay warm and made sure we stayed that way during our ride. We saw beautiful scenery and even got to ride out on the frozen River. We got to take breaks to walk around, pet the dogs and just enjoy ourselves. The dogs were well taken care of and you could see how much the guides loved their dogs! Thank you Vickie, Luther, and Riley for such an amazing experience! We’ll never forget it and wish you all nothing but success in your future races and life!

My 2 hour "I want to be a musher" adventure is for those who really want to learn about our wonderful Alaskan Huskies, their care, and have time to "drive" the team. Thank you for the review.

Our musher was awesome! How rude of me to not remember her name! But she was great and told us her dogs compete on a race. Even her house dog was part of our journey, pulling the sled and having fun! It was a fun experience and the lovely dogs were all friendly and sooo cute! We’ll definitely recommend Rod’s to our friends who would like to visit Fairbanks, AK in the future!
