Dog Sledding and Mushing Experience in North Pole

Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

I was a little bit leery about doing the dog sledding/mushing experience, however I cannot stress how wonderful the entire experience was. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable about the entire process. The crew helped me to get suited up for the experience, and my dog musher was AMAZING. She took the time to tell me about her dogs and how she cares for them. I cannot recommend Rod's Alaskan Guide Service enough!

Awesome experience w/ Kristen on the 2-hour mush. A great experience getting to help harness the dogs, ride on the sled, get to know about each of the dogs and mushing as a sport, and even getting the chance to drive as well. Kristen was very knowledgeable and experienced, as well as offered to take pictures. Highly recommend Rod's Dog Sled & Mushing Experience. They also were kind enough to give me a veteran's discount which was greatly appreciated. Thank you all, this was my favorite part of this trip!

Two persons sit on the sled. 30 minutes course is beautiful and very scenery. I recommend. It was a nice to touch dogs.
