Dog Sledding and Mushing Experience in North Pole

Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

I can't remember our guide's name but she's originally from San Diego- she was awesome, super knowledgeable, she took great pictures of my husband and I and answered all of our questions. It was a lot of fun, I would recommend.

Our granddaughter picked Alaska for her 16th birthday trip. She wanted to do dogsledding and snow machining along with watching the Northern lights. We decided to use Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service and I am so happy we did! Everything about this place is wonderful. The owners, Rod and Terri, are awesome people who do everything they can to make your tour a perfect memory! Our dogsledding with musher Cole was so fun. We had two hours through woods, saw 4 moose and my granddaughter enjoyed playing with the dogs. Cole helped us create a memory that we won’t forget. The next day was snow machine (as we know it-snowmobiling) and Rod took my husband and granddaughter on an hour-long ride. I really liked how he instructed my granddaughter on every aspect of the machine and had her do several laps before they took off on their ride. Both of them had a marvelous time and another memory for the books.
