Dogs are so cute and the coach gave us plenty of time to hug them and take pictures of them. Highly recommended.

Cell phones work the best to get pictures "on the trail" of your dogsledding adventure. Please ensure cellphones are in a zippered or closed pocket while on our adventures. Thank you for the review.

My only disappointment was the mushing experience. The advertisement is that the client will have time as a musher but the reality is the client just stands on the rail while the real musher yells the commands, brakes and puts the hook in the snow. I think the ad is a little disengenuous. Otherwise, everything was great. The musher was friendly and very informative, the scenery was good, the length of time was generous and it was just fun to see the dogs run. Because I was really hoping to act in the role of a musher, that was the only disappointment.

Safety is always the #1 priority at Rod's Alaskan Guide Service. It takes months/years of practice/training to safely handle a team of Alaskan Huskies. For safety reasons, a seasoned guide/musher is always close by to avoid any accidents. Thank you for dogsledding with Rod's.

Did the 2-hour dogsledding experience with Casey - great guide! Very knowledgeable and cares strongly about her dogs. Entire experience was top notch.

My 2 hour "I want to be a musher" adventure; is a hands on experience where you learn how to "hook up" and then command a team of happy huskies. Thank you for the review.
