Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

Our Musher, Vicky, was awesome! Very friendly, informative, and gracious. Enjoyed the time with the team, mid-trek. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing about them and what it’s like to go long distances with them. Only issue was the amount charged for 30 mins trip. Maybe just not aware of annual costs of keeping a team of 9/10 working dogs, gear and all?

Our Alaskan Huskies are fed like athletes with a high protein diet, that includes beef, chicken and fish. It takes a kennel of 22+ Alaskan Huskies to have a working team of 10 dogs for a 5 day work week. Our athletes are allotted lots of rest to ensure great health. Thank you for the review.

If this was the only thing we had experienced in Alaska our entire trip, we could've gone home and said we had a magical adventure. From scheduling, to follow-up, to prep, to our big day, it was 100% perfection. The drive into the business is gorgeous and easy to find. When you arrive, you're greeted by an efficient staff who guess your size and get you crazy hot bibs, parkas, face coverings, hats, boots, and everything you could possibly need to roast and sweat when it's three-below-zero outside and you're going to be racing with 20-30 mile hour arctic breezes. Our mush team treated us like a million bucks. They took tons of photos of our family together when we were on a dog break and gave us tons of tips and tidbits about the area. When we arrived back at the landing area, they saw us off to our truck with hospitality and a smile. This is a MUST mush for anyone visiting anywhere near Fairbanks. It's a great value. They overdeliver on the price they charge you. Definitely a 5-star experience!

We just had the most awesome experience in our lives!!! We went dog sledding!!!! We had such an amazing time & our mushers Kaycee & Dianah were absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!! All the people at Rod's were just the best!!!! Thank you for giving us a memory we will never forget!!!
