We at Dolphin Research Tours have reinvented the ecotour.

We provide real expertise.
We have been studying the dolphin communities in southwest Florida for 16 years. No other tour can provide as thorough an understanding of the local dolphins.

We respect the wildlife.
Coastal dolphins are under increasing pressure from human interaction. On a Dolphin Research Tour, you are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

We engage kids.
Kids are not just along for the ride. We've developed a fun 'citizen-science' activity for children that lets them be a scientist for the day.

We give back.
During each trip we collect sighting data for The Dolphin Study, a non profit working to protect Marco Island's dolphins.

Kent and Robin were wonderful tour guides! Kent is so knowledgeable about The dolphins and their habitat and clearly cares very much about them! We must have seen at least 25 dolphins! It was a great experience and I highly recommend this team! There were only 4 of us on the boat with them, so it was like private tour, not like the boats carrying 25 -50 people. Worth the price we paid for sure!!!
