Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

Due to safety concerns, customers are not allowed to bring any personal items on the flight
Due to weather, flights may be 25 to 35 minutes in length
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 8 yrs and older must sit in the front middle seat. Children 12 yrs and older may sit by an open door.
Wheelchair accessible - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own caregiver
All pilots and aircraft are FAA-certified
Helicopter holds 4 passengers; larger groups may be separated
Front seat guests CAN NOT EXCEED 330lbs combined weight.
All guests weighing 270 lbs or more when weighed at check-in, will be required to purchase an additional empty seat less 15% before fuel surcharge to safely balance the aircraft. They will be guaranteed a window seat.
Seating is assigned based on weight and balance following guidelines which have been approved by the FAA. We cannot guarantee seats as the weight of guests must be balanced within the aircraft.
A seat upgrade is not a guarantee; however, if you purchase a co-pilot and/or window seat upgrades, we will do our best to seat you in your purchased location. If we cannot accomodate a seat upgrade due to weight and balance requirements for your flight (or for any other reason), we will refund your upgrade purchase at check-in.

We had such a great time on this trip. Our pilot Ryan was knowledgeable, entertaining and made sure we were having fun. It was wonderful to see the waterfalls and coastline from the air. The trip was well worth the money!

Did the doors-off Kohala Valleys and Waterfalls tour and it was amazing! Matt was a great pilot- full of tons of information. Was suggested to leave out of Waimea instead of Kona, and it was great. Grabbed a late lunch in Waimea after- a fun end to the day.

Hi! If you splurge only on one "wow" experience while you're on Kona or in Hawaii, this doors-off tour is THE ONE you should chose! We're fortunate to have been to Hawaii several times in the past, and have done a few more traditional helicopter tours (which are great). This one, however, is spectacular!!! The thrill of experiencing the cliffs, valleys, and waterfalls of Kohala by being able to actually look directly down and around the natural beauty is unforgettable. We felt as though we could reach out and touch these spectacular wonders. Also requested a landing on the top of a cliff (at a landing spot created just for this trip, including a short jungle walk/hike). All while feeling increadibly safe and comfortable. This is a must-do in my opinion.
