Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

Due to safety concerns, customers are not allowed to bring any personal items on the flight
Due to weather, flights may be 25 to 35 minutes in length
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 8 yrs and older must sit in the front middle seat. Children 12 yrs and older may sit by an open door.
Wheelchair accessible - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own caregiver
All pilots and aircraft are FAA-certified
Helicopter holds 4 passengers; larger groups may be separated
Front seat guests CAN NOT EXCEED 330lbs combined weight.
All guests weighing 270 lbs or more when weighed at check-in, will be required to purchase an additional empty seat less 15% before fuel surcharge to safely balance the aircraft. They will be guaranteed a window seat.
Seating is assigned based on weight and balance following guidelines which have been approved by the FAA. We cannot guarantee seats as the weight of guests must be balanced within the aircraft.
A seat upgrade is not a guarantee; however, if you purchase a co-pilot and/or window seat upgrades, we will do our best to seat you in your purchased location. If we cannot accomodate a seat upgrade due to weight and balance requirements for your flight (or for any other reason), we will refund your upgrade purchase at check-in.

I enjoyed the valley helicopter tour. Was cool to be able to get into the valleys by air and see the waterfalls. This isn't something that you could do without a significant amount of hiking. The helicopter was able to accomplish quite a bit in a short flight. The one downside which others have also called out are the rear facing seats on the Bell 407 helicopter. The seats are next to a concave window so your sight is quite limited. I recommend paying for the front seat if you want to ensure you have a good view. Would definitely fly on a different trip of theirs again.

Wonderful and safe tour! This was a great way for us to see the Big Island in a way that we would not have been able to if we were on foot. We will say that it is pricey, but this was the most inexpensive out of all the tours. We signed up for the Kohala Coast tour, which was about 45 minutes. We had Koji as our guide. He was a wonderful pilot, and ensure that all of us had a great experience.

This tour was incredible! I do not think it’s possible to experience the natural beauty of the valley any other way! The jaw dropping waterfalls the incredible ocean cliffs the magnificent hills and valleys! It is incredible our pilot Koji was awesome and Carlos who checked us in was super helpful! Excellent customer service! We will definitely do another tour with paradise next time we are in Hawaii!
