All passenger names & weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather
ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight.
Supplier Terms and Conditions for Doors Off (MUST READ)
Children must be at least 10 years of age or older to go on doors off. An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old. Only age 16+ can sit on an edge/outside seat.
No hats, bags or any loose items allowed.
Must wear closed toed shoes. No flip-flops or sandals.
Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
Air Maui will provide each passenger a jacket that will be required for all passengers to wear during flight.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time. For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
Comfort seat charge for one passenger weighing 230lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190lbs or more. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase a comfort seat due to safety on the doors off flight.
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.

I booked the Doors-Off Tour for my husband's 40th birthday and it was a great choice. There was a big wreck on the only road on our way there that morning, and I was starting to panic that his birthday present would be ruined. When I called, they were awesome and let me know that our fellow passengers were stuck in the same jam and not to worry. The ladies at the check-in were great and very efficient at getting everyone in the group ready. Our pilot was awesome, very relaxed and genuine, and gave us some really interesting information as we flew over beautiful scenery. Neither of us had ever been in a helicopter before and were very pleasantly surprised at how smooth and relaxing the ride was.

We booked this experience as a family - 2 adults, 2 children (12 & 14 years). We were well looked after from the reception on site to the briefing and the implementation, and felt safe, even if we had needed the first few minutes of the flight to relax and enjoy despite the fear of heights. The pilot made us feel safe and explained everything in the best possible way. The experience was rounded off with the sighting of whales. This experience is highly recommended, we are totally thrilled and the children call the helicopter flight the highlight of the holiday!
