Some of the tour guides were great. They told you what to expect at each stop. But some didn’t even tell you that a stop was coming. So people were missing stops. Also, there was a route change and we were not notified. So we got shafted going in a different direction than we expected. To make matters worse, some of the drivers did not stop at a scheduled stop thereby leaving people standing on the sidewalks watching the bus drive by. Thank god the city bus helped us out. Never experienced this on any of the hop on hop off tours I’ve ever taken and we take a lot of them. In Philly there are lots of options so check them out before investing in this one.

Our tour guide, "Uncle Brucey" was FANTASTIC! There was never a dull moment with him : - ) Very, very knowledgeable, honest and has a great sense of humor! We loved the tour route that was given to us. WOW! Excellent!

Our 1st guide was very knowledgeable and fun! We were disappointed that the website did not alert us to a detour due to a festival in front of the Art Museum. It meant the bus could not take is to the Rocky Statue or the Cathedral Basilica, which were both must sees for us. We got off at the penitentiary and walked to the Art Museum and Cathedral. The tour is worth it just to give you some local history and insight into what you want to walk to see.
