These buses are very informative, if you get a competent tour guide. We don’t take these tours to listen to someone else’s political opinions. Keep those to yourself.

We have done the hop on hop off tour before and hate to wait for the next bus after visiting a site because it can be a 45 minutes wait, but what we very much love is to ride the whole circuit. In good weather being upstairs is so nice, so try to plan your visit in September...not too hot or too cold. The live commentary is very different depending on the guide you happen to get. We got on at the stop near the Reading Terminal. The young lady at the ticket stand at that stop was very, very nice and helpful. She was able to tell us when the bus would arrive. This is so reassuring to be updated. Only 2 stops, the Bourse and the Reading Terminal actually have staff to talk with, so I would recommend starting at one of those 2 stops.
