Overview

At Defiance Rafting, we expect our guides and their passengers to display perfect paddling form when rafting through the Class III–IV Shoshone Rapids. When they do, which is mostly all the time, we reward their excellence by letting them raft it again. When they don't, we punish them by making them redo it, which, oddly enough, they never seem too upset about.

If you like white water rafting or would like to try it, these guys do a great job of making sure you have a blast and safety is the number one priority.

Last minute trip. My boyfriend and I were going to head to hanging lake but it was closed off. Konner just happened to see there was a Zipline course around the way. Not knowing what to expect we head on in through the camp site. We got situated at the bar and had drinks and food with Myles (the bartender). Myles started our day off with great conversation and had an amazing play list going. In the middle of us deciding what to do for with the day, Thalia (owner of defiance) comes over to explain our options and what time we needed to ready for our tour. While we waited for the tour, we got to rent tubs and go tubing down the river. Once back from tubing our wonderful guide Scott took over and we had a BLAST! I can't remember all the staff names, at the moment, but EVERYONE was nice, attentive, and very easy going. This was the best part of our trip before we left the mountains. I'm planning a family trip with my siblings from the East coast to go back to defiance with them.
