So good...definitely a major highlight of our week in the Providence/Boston area. Ellen our tour guide was spectacular - informative, gregarious, and hilarious. The food stops were diverse and memorable - hard to even pick a favorite. Actually a way better sightseeing/historical tour than we were anticipating, so that was a bonus above and beyond the food part. We felt like VIPs at each restaurant - the owners stopped by and talked with us about the dishes they picked out for us. Highly recommended!

Ellen was a wonderful tour guide. She took the time to talk with every person and truly cared about what you had to say. We enjoyed all of the food an my vegetarian husband was given decent substitutions. We even revisited Plant City one more time and The Malted Barley two times after the tour. Ellen also introduced us to Del's frozen lemonade! Delicious by the way! A few things: I did the alcohol add on. You are not given alcohol at every stop. I did not care for the beer flight at the Malted Barley, but that was my issue not the tour's. When I returned to the Malted Barley, I was able to customize my own flight. I enjoyed it much more. 2 of the stops did not give us water with our food. I always carry water with me and have no problem buying anything along the way, but that might be a problem for some. A cup of water would have been beneficial at Dune Bros. and Geoff's. Just a friendly reminder about tours in general - Please tip your tour guide. We are always in disbelief the amount of people who do not tip.

Let me just say Ellen with Rhode Island Red Food Tours in Providence, RI was an exceptional tour guide! She had high energy throughout, lots of interesting information, we had excellent tasting food! She was very caring and concerned, but very adaptable when, in the middle of our tour, the 95°+ heat, I started getting overheated, but not heat stroke/exhausted yet. We got in a cooler place, and I started to feel better shortly after (I was drinking water throughout the tour). We decided that I would stay out of the sun, and she was willing to bring back my portion of the food at the same place!!! She is a great tour guide! The food I did have was very tasty and the tour supports local restaurants! If you get the chance to be in Providence, RI and have about 3.5 hours to walk around, I highly recommend this tour!
