What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on Cliff’s tour! I gave my husband this trip as a birthday present and he thoroughly enjoyed it, all because of this tour. The combination of craft beers, brewery education, and history were phenomenal. We walked away happy, with lots of dinner conversation.

Awesome Tour! Our guide, Cliff, was extremely knowledgeable, upbeat and a pleasure to travel with. He takes a lot of pride in educating others and has the answer to any question you throw his way. Not to mention, plenty of beer to try all along the way!

Cliff led our tour. He is very knowledgeable about beer, beer making and even historical facts about Asheville. Cliff is also has a fun approach. We weren’t craft beer experts, and we still had a great time. He can go deep or stay high, depending on what you need. Great time and the 3 breweries all had unique aspects.
