What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. This was really fun and informative . Our guide was very knowledgeable and we all learned a lot. Plus lots of samples of good beers. They accommodated a food allergy also, which was very nice. Lots of fun! Definitely would recommend doing this.

Really fun and interesting experience getting to learn about the different breweries on Asheville's South Slope, how they came to be, and why beer is the way it is. Plenty to drink and plenty to see, all around a great time!

I’ve been on several brewery tours in the past but none that have been anywhere near the experience this one was. The guide was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable about all things beer and Asheville. The “tastings” were VERY generous pours. This is the only brewery tour you need to know about if you are planning a trip to Asheville!!
