What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. I highly recommend this tour, I would do it as soon as you arrive and then plan the rest of your visit by the places you liked most. Very informative and tasty.

My husband and I loved this tour. Our guide was so knowledgable about the whole brewing process for beer and explained it in a very engaging manner whilst also plying us with some great beer along the way. He helped us understand the best way to taste and smell the beer to get the most out of what we drank and he also hit us with some good facts about Asheville and why it has so many breweries in it. I would recommend this tour if you're coming into town and want to know more about the brewing process as well as drink some lovely beer.
