My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. We learnt several things about the process of making beer and also history of Asheville. The group was fun, the choice of breweries excellent. Highly recommended, easiest way to start, after which you can explore further.

I am not much of a beer person but during my time in Asheville for work the brewery tour was a group activity and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was very friendly and seemed to know everything about everything, from the different strains of yeast being "cooked" for different periods of time at different temperatures to the perfect temperature and glassware to enjoy the final product and everything in-between.

I can't recommend this tour enough. It was great to visit the breweries as something other than a regular customer, especially getting to see behind the scenes. Cliff was very knowledgeable and personable and an all round great guy to spend 3 hours with. He did a great job explaining the history of brewing, the science behind it, and the different philosophies that breweries have on business and on beer itself. Last but not least, the BEER! There was a wide variety of tasters at each stop. Even as a beer lover I was introduced to a couple of new ideas in brewing
