I took my son and his girlfriend on the BREW-ed Tour when they were visiting here in Asheville. We really enjoyed our cicerone's presentation of the fundamentals of beer brewing and felt we learned quite a lot. And there was certainly plenty of fine beer tasting at the 3 breweries! Only recommendations for making the tour even better -- more discussion of what characterizes the various popular beer styles (IPAs, porters, sours, stouts, etc.) and a handout capturing all the great information!

My husband and I did the Friday Afternoon Brew Tour, we visited 3 Breweries and learned a lot! The tour was fantastic and we highly recommend it. You will learn a lot about the beer making process as well as some Asheville History, it was fun to walk around downtown Asheville and be with a group of people who by the end of the tour you are all acting like best buds, so fun! We even liked one Brewery enough to go back the next day and have lunch there. It was a great memory for our vacation and will do it again if we go back.
