We traveled to Asheville for a short one night weekend trip with friends to celebrate our spouses birthdays. This trip was exclusively to visit the many brewerys in the area and to learn about the brewing process. We took the 2 hour walking tour which we felt was all we could handle and needed and also for the price. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the brewing process and we learned a lot from him. We tasted about 8 different beers, 4 at Hi Wire and 4 at Wicked Weed brewerys They range from lagers to ales, darks and lights and also a few with different flavorings. I would definitely recommend taking this tour. Everything you need to know about brewing your own beer you can get from this tour.

When we rolled into Asheville for a (too-short) vacation the beer scene was on the forefront of our itinerary. The Saturday BREW-ed tour was a perfect introduction to the town and its fantastic brewing culture. Good pours of multiple samples at every stop. This tour is way worth it, even if you've seen all the brewery tour stuff before.

Cliff is an absolute expert on both beer and Asheville. The tour was full of fun tidbits, stories, and true knowledge that made our experience go from good to great. We traveled to 3 different breweries and learned about and tasted a number of the beers from them.
